South Africa tour of Australia 1st Twenty20 International: Australia v South Africa at Melbourne, Jan 11, 2009 - As Australia try to recuperate from the loss in the Test series they can take pride from the fact thay they have never lost a T20 on home soil. Both teams will be without some senior players and it promises to be an exciting contest with a lot of young talent on display. The South African team will also wear a new look with captain Graeme Smith, Hashim Amla, Neil McKenzie and Morne Morkel being left out. Herschelle Gibbs is back in the mix after completing his rehabilitation process while older brother Albie Morkel will also be exciting to watch.
South Africa have already announced their starting line-up with two debutants - middle order batsman Vaughn van Jaarsveld and fast bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe to partner Dale Steyn and Makhaya Ntini.
